Fertility yoga is for any woman who is preparing to or trying to get pregnant. It offers a deliberate way of practicing yoga that honors exactly where you are in your cycle no matter if you are trying to conceive naturally or with assisted reproductive technology (ART).  Classes are crafted to support the reproductive and endocrine systems. Yoga for fertility not only focuses on sequences of yoga postures that when practiced together create certain physiological effects in the body, but also on the mindset needed around fertility to create success. After class stay for a peer led group chat.  Share where you are in your journey with other women who can fully relate. Maybe even learn about helpful tools to try outside of the doctors office.

Prenatal yoga gives expecting moms the opportunity to relax, breathe, and connect with their body, their baby, and fellow mamas to be. This series is designed to build strength and flexibility in your body to help you carry your growing belly more efficiently, so you can feel your best—preventing low back pain, hip pain and round ligament pain and other common pregnancy aches and issues. We will target the muscles you will use in labor and birth helping you build strength, flexibility and stamina where you’ll need it the most and offers tools to aid in labor and birth. Whether you’re having a vaginal or cesarean birth, practicing yoga while pregnant will significantly aid in your postpartum recovery. 

 

POSTPARTUM YOGA

POSTPARTUM MAMAS - BABY OPTIONAL 

Postpartum yoga is gentle and will help to build support and strength in your postpartum body. We will flow through slow moving postures building upon each class. The focus will be reconnecting to yourself. You body and mind might not feel like your own anymore. Through creative sequencing and breath you will start to find your core & pelvic muscles again. Pre-crawling babies are welcome to join! Mama has full freedom to involve baby or allow baby some rest/alone time. Simply (or not so simply) getting out of the house is a feat within itself! There are no expectations here.
